House Layout: This single story house (measuring 24x 34’) is constructed bachelor apartment style. The bedroom is an alcove in the northwest corner where there is one double bed. A large separate bathroom contains a barrier free shower with seat (5’ wide), a roll-rim cast iron tub, sink, toilet and washing machine. There is no dryer, only an outside clothes line. The kitchen has a 20” propane stove, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, double sink, and side by side refrigerator-freezer. My house is about 150’ from the rental unit (The advantage being I can assist you with whatever, a cup of sugar) but gardens, trees, etc make the rental property quite private. We are on a dirt road – about 800 feet off the road. There is a marsh between the road and the fields in front of the house. There are a number of lakes close by. Antigonish Harbour Estuary (1/2 hr drive) is a wonderful place for canoeing and bird watching. I can lend you a canoe. The Atlantic Shore is about a 45 minute drive.
